• I love this plug-in – using tags and categories to display different testimonials or quotes on different pages, and the relative ease of styling to match my child themes make it a favourite. And I’ve yet to encounter any conflicts, or broken anything while updating it or anything else. Thanks and keep up the good work ??

Funny, I just read the previous review (complaining about frequent updates breaking customizations) and realised that this sounds like a response to it! Sorry to hear others having probs with CSS breaking on updates… I wonder what I’m doing differently as, whether by accident or design, I have yet to encounter that problem!!

    wwolf,

Thank you for the review. I’m very happy things have worked out for you. Do let me know of any ideas you might have.

In the beginning, I’d do a release several times a week as I believe in release early and often. Now, I try to keep to once a week. However, like this past Friday, I let out a change that took a couple of releases within 24 hours to fix. Sorry all.

On breaking customizations, yeah, I changed the CSS naming back around 2.10.0 and folks didn’t read the CHANGELOG or upgrade notices and got caught.

I’ve got some further possible customization breaking changes coming, but again, they’re listed in the CHANGELOG and readme already, despite not released.

One thing to keep in mind on the complaints, often it’s more frustration on people’s behalf. As long as it’s not made personal, I have no qualms helping folks get through the issues raised.

    Thank you for the support.
