    Hi Najeeeb,

I need to set PPOM Permissions to give access for Editors and above.

I setup this in Woocommerce / Settings / PPOM / PPOM Permissions input but I only see PPOM submenu item in Woocommerce menu, and I only can edit PPOM fields with Admin rights.

Please help me, how can I set user roles for Editors.

    Regards,
    Jozsef VER

  • Hey,

PPOM has a setting to set the permission to edit the ppom fields. Make sure you use the ppom latest version,

    Thanks

    Hi @drseo,

This should be last PPOM option to manage menu visibility.

    Hi @nmedia

I believe I have the exact same issue as the original reporter, but I am using version 20.3, so it does not seem resolved to me.

In my PPOM permission I have set the Administrator and Shop manager role.
When I login with a Administrator account I can see the PPOM menu item and it links to /wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ppom

When I login with my Shop manager account, which has the roles Editor and Shop manager then I still see the PPOM menu item. But it tries to link to /wp/wp-admin/ppom. Which results in a 404.
When I use the url /wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ppom I get a WordPress error page that I am not allowed to see the contents.

Could you please take another look at this?

    With kind regards,

    Laurens Kistenkas.

    Hi,

@drseo when did you download PPOM PRO from client portal?

make sure you deactivate/activate PPOM free version to activate new permissions for menu

    Hi @nmedia !

    >> when did you download PPOM PRO from client portal?

    06/18/2020

    >> make sure you deactivate/activate PPOM free version to activate new permissions for menu

Today I updated free version to 20.4 and then deactivated/activated plugin.

Result: on dashboard / Woocommerce menu item I don’t see PPOM fields submenu, but I see PPOM menu in first menu level, and also in Woocommerce / Product editor.

So as I see, this issue resolved.

    Thank you!

    Regards,
    Jozsef

Yes, the menu will be not inside Woocommerce for other users.

    Cheers.

    Hi @nmedia @drseo

For me it works as expected too. Thank you both for your effort and time.

    Have a nice day.

    With kind regards
    Laurens
