    hi,

i need to import products from ebay to woocommerce, i found this addon that seems to be good but i need some answers before buying. hope you can help:

    1. is this import image and product descriptions?
    2. is there an import limit? (i need to import like 4.800 products)
    3. i got a plugin that turns the weight value of the product in the shipping price. so my question is: do the wp lister import the shipping price too? can i put it in the weight value somehow?

    thank you for the answers.

    Hello capnjazz.

    Thank you for considering WPLab.

    1. is this import image and product descriptions?

Yes, it will import images and descriptions.

    2. is there an import limit? (i need to import like 4.800 products)

Well the limit really depends on your server: What are the server requirements to import 1000 items or more from eBay? – but if you find your server cannot handle the process, you could always run a clean import, when the server times out or halts, set the Import mode to “Only new items” and continue running the import with the “Only new items” set as the import mode until all items have been imported.

Also, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all of our paid plugins. So if for any reason it does not work out for you, just let us know and we will have no problem issuing you a refund.

    3. i got a plugin that turns the weight value of the product in the shipping price. so my question is: do the wp lister import the shipping price too? can i put it in the weight value somehow?

You can read about importing shipping methods with our importer add on here: Does the plugin import shipping methods and fees?

    Kind regards,
    John

    So,
i can import the shipping price of the ebay products only if i had this ‘per product’ shipping add-on (is it a wp-lab plugin?)?

(i only sell my products in my country)

    Hello capnjazz.

Whether you have it installed or not, the importer will still import the shipping methods as well as other options. But those shipping options cannot be used unless you have the “per product” shipping plugin installed because the functionality is not there out of the box with WC.

You can find the plugin here: Per Product Shipping

    Got you,
so i have to buy two plugins for import shipping price per single product, right?

    thank you.

    Hello capnjazz.

Yes, if you want to use the eBay shipping details that are imported by the plugin for your WC products, then yes, that is correct.

    sorry,
    i got just another question:

how does the plugin import the products? via csv or it connects with the ebay account?

    Hello capnjazz.

You will need to connect your eBay account to WP-Lister. The importer add on then can be installed. Once installed you will need to run through steps 1-3 of the importer. Step one will already be complete if the plugin is setup. Step 2 will connect to your eBay account and check for categories, number of products, account details etc. Then step 3 will import the products.

WP-Lister imports the data by connecting to your eBay account.

    Kind regards,
    John

get the ebay keys (the apis, right?) to make the plugin work needs more money? should i be register to any kind of ebay developer program or something?

    thank you

    Hello capnjazz.

No, you don’t need to do any of that. All you need is an eBay seller account to connect WP-Lister to and the importer will be able to import from eBay to WC.

    Kind regards,
    John

    I forgot one thing:

i got these products in a “non-sold-section” on ebay, cause of a limit about on-sale-products. how can i import these products, too, since they’re not visible on the front side?

    Hello capnjazz.

Browse to the “Advanced” page of the importer’s settings and locate the “Import only” setting. There you can select “Active”, “Sold”, or “Unsold” and then run the importer again.

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hello capnjazz.

Yes, that is correct, you need at least WP-Lister Lite in order to use the importer add on. So install WP-Lister lite, then purchase and install the importer add on.

    Kind regards,
    John
