Here is my setting, as mentioned the pre-tag isn’t working as usual.

Can you please explain for what purpose you use such circuitous markup? Why do you need <pre> there? What is the intension of the <span class="body-text">?

I use the <pre></pre> to preserve the space, not collapse it. however, the output keeps collapsing it not sure why.

I also tested with this code only pre-tag so it’s not circuitous.

However, the same result contacts form output still does not preserve the space.

Would you mind checking this and getting me a solution?

Try it again without the <pre></pre>. You don’t need it because wpautop() is applied to the content and therefore the space is preserved.

And, please stop repeatedly using the @<name> mention. That isn’t necessary.

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

I’m testing this with only your plugin active and the twenty-twenty-two theme from WordPress. And the issue still remains.

You can also test this out from your end and see the result of whether to use the pre-tag or not it isn’t reserved space anymore, via the contact form 7 output.
