Pre-install question – are existing media folders kept?

    Found this plugin because I have a recently uploaded file in a year/month folder that needs to be moved to a different month folder.

    I just need to move a single PDF; will existing year/month folders remain as they are and allow me to move the file if this plugin is installed?

    Yes, it should work. Note that if the file is embedded in a standard post or page the plugin will update embedded link. However some themes or page builder plugins store links in a non standard format. We added code to handle this issue with the most popular themes and plugins but in some case the link may not get updated, so you should check the the link is working after moving a file.
