Pre-populate data? Combine with Ultimate Member

    Hi

    We are using your Ultimate Member plugin in conjunction with this JobBoardWP plugin. There is a certain amount of custom data that we have stored against the Ultimate Member user role, that we now need to store against the job roles themselves, rather than the user role. For example, there is an entry field in the Ultimate Member user form for “Employability Support”. We now need the job roles themselves, in JobBoardWP, to show some of this data against the jobs, such as “Employability Support” which is already stored against the user role.

    In JobBoardWP, we have amended the template files e.g. job-submission.php to contain the custom entries we need.

    My question based on the above: is there a way we are able to combine data in a field such as “Employability Support”, which we now have a custom entry for in the Job Submission template in JobBoardWP, and pre-populate that with data that’s already stored against the user in Ultimate Member?

    Thanks for your question!
    As I understood “Employability Support” is a field created via the Ultimate Member plugin for displaying/editing user data via User Profile form.

    And you need to show this field with the pre-populated data on the Job Submission form, right?

    You could customize job-submission.php template and action handler (job submission) and extends the Job Submission form (job submission request) by the fields with meta keys from Ultimate Member fields.

    E.g. get_user_meta( $user_id, $meta_key, true );
