Hello, I’m switching from a broken “favorites” plugin to this one. We have posts that were already “favorited” from the other plugin. The numbers are just in the post meta. It looks like your plugin touches multiple tables when a post is liked. Is there a frontend or easy PHP/MySQL route to pre-populate these numbers?

    Hi!

Sorry, but no. Data mostly stored on our side, so it’s impossible.
Perhaps, this opportunity will be added in the future updates, please stay tuned for them on our site.

Thank you for the response. Most of these are only 2-6 “likes”. Would there be a way I can do these on the frontend? Maybe “like” the same post from different browsers and computers? We are NOT concerned about knowing who (IP address, if they’re logged in, etc) liked something, just the total number. Any help with fudging this a bit would be appreciated.

Well, ‘to like post from another computer’ this actually a default usage of our service, so if you can do it – go ahead. Also, you can set ‘unlimited’ votes from any IP and ‘IP voting interval’ to 1 second to make this ‘manual importing’ go faster (without switching to another PC or browser).

Please, note – our plugin has 7-days free trial (‘TRIAL’ = all benefits of ‘ULTRA’ plan). Use it to test all your cases before buying.

I have actually already paid for the VIP package, so my trial offer is now gone… I noticed there is an option in our account for unlimited votes for the same IP address but I can’t select it because of my package choice. Is there a way around this? Can I get the trial offer back while using this same API key? Maybe a coupon code for the 7 day trial?

    Thank you!

For anyone who needs this functionality, I used the Ultra Trial and set the the IP Address Interval to 1 sec. Make sure the shortcode has this parameter: voting_frequency=”1″. Then I was able to vote, refresh the page, then vote again until my voting numbers were what I needed. A perfect solution for posts with relatively low voting numbers. Support was awesome too!
