Pre-purchase questions!

    Hello, I have a client interested in Ultimate Auction Pro, yet has a few concerns. I took a look through the specs, and I think we are good to purchase, but I’m not 100%. I’d like to address these if possible for his peace of mind, and so I can continue to move this project forward! If you could supply with a little information, I will be most grateful.

    This is for an antique toy auction site, and here are the concerns:

    1) How are auction creators, held accountable? For instance, if they try to abuse by selling fake goods?

    2) Can Auctions require Admin approval before they go live?

    3) Is intrastate sales tax handled by this plug-in?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing your queries, though PRO questions should be written to PRO support (https://auctionplugin.net/support).

    But let me attend to your questions:

    1) How are auction creators, held accountable? For instance, if they try to abuse by selling fake goods?

    PRO has a listing fee feature where admin can charge listing fee from seller on per auction basis. This feature makes sure that when payment is successful then only their auction goes live. Hence any seller who would pay this wont be kidding.

    Other than this, since a seller would be a registered user, you can delete him from your site.

    Do share your inputs too if you wish.

    2) Can Auctions require Admin approval before they go live?

    No, this feature is not there.

    3) Is intrastate sales tax handled by this plug-in?
    No.

    I feel point 2 and 3 can be done via custom work, they wont be complex.
