Pre-sale Inquiries. Exclude Backorder for Variable Products

    Hi there,

    We have been using the free version of this plugin, but we need the “exclude backorder” feature along with the “in stock” filter to show products that are “In-Stock” (Not “Out of stock”, Not “On backorder”, not “available for backorder”, but the ones with inventory/stock quantity of more than ‘0’). From various sources, we believe it is only available on your paid version.

    Hence we would like to seek clarification on the mentioned features above. We would like to know if the filter will apply to:
    (1) Different types of products – Simple, Variable, etc.?
    (2) Variable products with X no. of variations that are “out of stock/on backorder” but also with X no. of variations that are “in stock” (e.g. stock 5 qty)？
    （3）Variable products that are “in stock (e.g. stock 5 qty) but also “available for backorder”?

    Will proceed to purchase the plugin if it does support the functions/features/filters that we are looking for. Looking forward to your swift response. Thank you.

    Hello

    “exclude backorder” – This is a separate checkbox for filtering and does not work with variations.

    “In-Stock” – this works the same for all versions

    Could you elaborate on that? Does that mean the checkbox won’t exclude variable products that are “on backorder” and not in stock? So it only excludes Simple Product that is on backorder?

    So it only excludes Simple Product that is on backorder? – Yes! And if the parent product has “on backorder”

    So it only detects the Simple/Parent products inventory status. Understood.

    Do hope that it can work on variations in the future. Thank you for your response.
