Pre-Sale Question: ZIP code markers

  • Posts on the website I’m working on include a custom field for “ZIP code.” Would your plugin help us create a map that shows the location of each post, based on that ZIP code custom field??

    Hello @tedslater,

    By default, GEO my WP does not integrate with custom fields and it provides its own location form that you’d need to use to add a location to your posts.

    However, there are a couple of ways you could sync a custom field with GEO my WP:

    1. A custom function that will geocode the address from the custom field and save the location data in GEO my WP’s database each time that custom field is updated.
    2. Use the Meta Fields Geolocation extension which does the above for you.
