    1. I’m a former user of Mailpoet for ou Woocommerce store, we left it because we had to many bugs and mail delivery issues, we were not the only ones to report this, is your plugin performant for Woocommerce stores?
    2. We don’t have the wordpress cron activated, instead we run a server side cron, is this an issue?
    3. If I’m not mistaken the pro version of your plugin can be used for Woocommerce email marketing? How many emaisl can we send and for how many subscribers?
    4. Do you provide an abandoned cart and checkout email option?
    5. If we use another form to get clients signed up in our newsletter can we manually add them to Mail mint?

Hi @blclda , thanks you for looking into Mail Mint.

Let me answer your questions according to the same order as asked, one by one:

    1. Yes, Mail Mint has integration with WooCommerce, out of which, some are free features and some are Pro.
    2. Yes, it will work with server cron.
    3. Mail Mint is a self-hosted email marketing automation tool. It will use the default SMTP setup on your site. On that regard, there is no limit to the number of contacts you can store or the number of emails you can send.
    4. The abandoned cart email campaign is something we will work on during early Q2 of this year. And we do have automation triggers based on orders placed to let you create email automation flows for WooCommerce orders. However, if you are referring to the ability of customizing the default WooCommerce emails when orders are placed, using Mail Mint, then that is something we are yet to work on.
    5. Yes you can import contacts in bulk via CSV or manually add them. Or, you may use Webhooks.

Feel free to let us know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks.

Hey @cssultan thanks for the detailed answers.

I’m currently trying the free version and things seem smooth so far, I’ll import our whole contact list and try the pro version and integration with woocommerce. I believe the priority should be the abandoned carts.

Transactional emails there are very popular and lightweight solutions on the plugin directory like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/kadence-woocommerce-email-designer/

Just out of curiosity, if we have say 20 thousand contacts on our newsletter, would this be an issue in the database or plugin performance? At what size does the costumer contact amount start affecting the store performance?

We have Fluent Forms. Can we automatically import new Fluent Form submissions into Mail Mint and add a category according to the form that was submitted?

    Hi @apexpredator ,

We have the Fluent Forms integration already in our Roadmap and it’s planned for this quarter.

So, you’ll be able to do this pretty soon.

    Hi @blclda ,

You see, your visitors will hardly interact with Mail Mint while browsing your site.

And there’s not much in Mail Mint that could affect the speed or performance of your site.

Anyway, we take the topic of performance seriously and have built Mail Mint in a way that does not slow down the site when you’re sending emails.

@anshverma14 , no there is no limit. However, how many can be sent per hour will depend on your server and website resources.

We have tested with 10000 emails our various servers without any isssues.
