    Hello,

I am really struggling with WPML.

I have set it up to have two languages Swedish (default) and English (translation).

They work great. However, Now I have added the languages / regions:

    UK showing prices in pounds
International (non-EU) showing prices in dollars.

To be able to achieve this. I had to duplicate all English data to the new tranlations/regions. This has caused some problems, because the canonical link is with the Swedish and therefore even a duplicate shows meta data from the Swedish.

Would your plugin be my saviour?

Really what I want to do is just change the pricing depending on what region the person is from:

    Swedish: SEK
    English (EU): Euro
    International (non-EU): Dollars
    UK: Sterling Pounds

Could I set this to work for only the English translation? So anybody visiting the English page could actually get the right currency? Or I might not even need it because Swedish would get SEK anyway right?

Oh I’ve got my hopes up!

    Kind regards,

    Marcus

    Hi,
you can do it with PBoC. For customer that visit your site from Sweden, PBoC will display the SEK (if you configured this pricing zone) and WPML should display the page in Swedish.

You should consider that, if you want to use PBoC, you will have to disable the “WooCommerce Multilingual” multicurrency feature.

I hope this solves your doubts ??

    Oscar!

    Thank you for your reply.

I have a question regarding the payment gateways. What happens when somebody makes a purchase?

If I set up so that all currencies in the world are used. And somebody in Japan uses the site. The site would display in Yen. But when they go through the checkout process. Would the website try to charge in Yen? Because I would not be able to accept that currency as a payment.

Also would it still be possible to have a manual control for the currency?

    Kind regards,

    Marcus

    Hi,
You need a payment gateway that supports payment in the customer currency. If I set up so that all currencies in the world are used, you need at least one payment gateway that supports the currency of the customer country.

    Please, review https://www.pricebasedcountry.com/docs/getting-started/minimum-requirements/

Thanks for the help, this definitely seems like something we will try!

    Kind regards,
