• Hello,

I have a client with a WooCommerce store that sells a few courses using LearnPress, and they utilize the LearnPress – WooCommerce Payment Methods Integration plugin to integrate LearnPress with WooCommerce. This integration is necessary as we rely on Brazilian payment methods.

Periodically, my client receives messages from users of the website asking why the platform hasn’t listed the courses they have already purchased. The payments are processed and debited correctly by WooCommerce, and everything appears to be in order on the WooCommerce side. The integration between WooCommerce and LearnPress is also functioning correctly. However, sometimes transactions appear in LearnPress orders with “no item” listed in the course section, as shown in this screenshot:

Could you please advise on what steps I can take to prevent this issue from occurring?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi ivangneiding,

    Thank you for reaching out.

To troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem where purchased courses are not listed for users, please try the following steps:

    • Deactivate all plugins except LearnPress, LearnPress – WooCommerce Payment Methods Integration, and your Brazilian payment gateway plugin.
    • Switch your theme to the default WordPress theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty-One).
    • Conduct a test purchase to see if the issue persists with only the essential plugins and default theme active.
    • If the issue persists, try using a different payment method to see if the problem is specific to the Brazilian payment gateway.

If the issue still occurs after following these steps, please let us know, and we will investigate further.

    Best regards,

    Hello @briantp

I had already considered taking these actions before asking for help here, but only if no other measure could be taken because the site has been in production for almost 3 years. The biggest issue is that not all purchases result in this problem, but rather some of them, and it seems to be ‘random’. This means that in our tests, we could be unlucky and not trigger the problem during testing. Also, it would be necessary to conduct a large battery of tests with real payments, since payment methods may be involved in the issue. This would be extremely complicated because, due to its random nature, dozens of tests (and most likely, in fact, hundreds of tests) would be required to pinpoint the real cause of the problem.

So, I would like to ask if there is any way to enable Learnpress logging since debugging through purchases may not be effective?
