Preceding /wp-content/uploads on the img src URL

Hi, I’m using the plugin with the WP REST API functionality and I can see that the image is being set correctly when I edit the post and the OG image tags also show the correct URL.

However, the frontend has the img src URL as https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/;https://external.com/photo.jpg instead of https://external.com/photo.jpg and so it’s not being showed.

I’m using the default TwentyTwenty theme and AFAIK with no conflicting plugins.
