Precise Street Address Warning not showing

    Hi all,

    thanks for the work you’re delivering!

    I am having trouble with the “Precise Street Address Warning:”, I put a sentence in but it does not show up when it should (as in: only the street is given), and people can check out without complete address. (Or when is this message shown?)

    Does this only work if you have a separate field for the number? Because before this plugin (and now still), street and number are in 1 field.

    Thanks for trying out our plugin.

    Your assumptions on how it should are correct. If you just put in a street without a number, it should give you an alert with the sentence that you entered.

    Here is a set of screenshots that demonstrates how this feature works. The “place” that Google returns should have “street_address” within its “types” array. Otherwise, it will show the alert.

    This has nothing to do with separate fields for number and street. WooCommerce has an address line 1 field, and that’s what we use.

    thanks for clarifying! However, where is this notice visible?

    Also, it does show ‘route’ as type (https://imgur.com/a/1ldzCi8) but does nothing.

    It was an character escape issue. It’s fixed in version 2.0.3.

    Is there a way to have the warning under the text box or just not have it as a sudden popup?

    I’ll consider that suggestion, but I figured I wouldn’t mess with anything too complicated for a feature that should be rarely seen.
