When a customer tries to donate with a predefined value, the form says you need to specify a value and loops back to ‘choose your own value’.

In console, I get the following error: (index):283 The specified value "5,00" cannot be parsed, or is out of range.

    How can I solve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,
How did you predefined the values in the WP dashboard?

It should be written like this:
    10.00/25.00/50.00/75.00

    so No comma but point

have a look on this site

Thanks @adham24a2 , that did the trick.

Strangely, with comma’s it worked fine until 2 weeks ago. Also, the example given in the Dutch translation is confusing, since that implies using comma’s for decimals (which is the common way of notating this in the Netherlands)

    The descriptive hint says:
Scheid bedragen met een /. Voorbeeld: "5,00/10,00/25,00/50,00"

So it works.. happy to hear that..
Yes what you said is true. The documentation is not perfect and also not always up to date. Sometimes, like yesterday and few weeks ago, anew plugin’s update is released but no changes in the documentation. The information are in the change log.

sometimes they made tiny changes and that might brake the functionality on your site. So I advise you to stop the automatic update, and always read the updated log before updating.

    fijn weekend nog.

Thank you for the suggestion of looking into the decimal notation. No need to explain how (automated) updates and documentation works though, I’m aware of that.
