Preference Lite – pages jumps to the side

First of all I cant with words express how much I adore your theme. It has everything I have ever wanted and it supports everything my client needs. But now over to some questions.

Every time I navigate between the pages on my website or press the refresh button the pages jumps a bit to the side and the slider as well and I have no idea why it does that. Im using the meta slider and I have customized the slider to fit the header widget area but it still does that. Do you have any idea or solution to my problem?

Then I was wondering if I can remove the shadow under the slider somehow? Im working in your child theme and the theme editor so I wont destroy anything.
