Preferred domain no longer working?

    I just updated to 3.0.1 and my website no longer redirects to the preferred version of my domain.

    For example, I used to use thisismyurl.com, now the site lets you use https://www.thisismyurl.com instead.

    I used to be able to control this in Settings > General > WordPress address (URL) but it no longer seems to work.
