Preg_match () error message

    Hello all,

    I have this message on my content pages:
    Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /home/content/78/7532878/html/Chiron/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 218

    Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /home/content/78/7532878/html/Chiron/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 219

    Very much a beginner here so any assistance would be appreciated.

    It was related to some blog posts provided with the theme. I retraced my steps and deleted the blogs (I had changed them to drafts to hide them but keep the templates). This fixed the error message.
