preg_match(): Unknown modifier '/'

I keep getting this error showing up in my logs a million times:
preg_match(): Unknown modifier ‘/’ in /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-https/lib/WordPressHTTPS/Module/DomainMapping.php on line 43
When attempting this solution (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/warning-preg_match-unknown-modifier-c-in-domainmappingphp-on-line-43) I will get a blank white page for the home page every time.
Anyone have any idea how to clear this up?
