    I run a dog photo contest.Each time someone uploads a photo of their dog I am having to empty the cache then do the preload again so that site visitors can see the newly uploaded photo. Is there a better way to do this so that I don’t have to do a preload everytime someone uploads a new photo to my site?

  • Hi Derek,

    You could either disable cache for the contest page by adding /waggly-dog-of-the-week-w-e-6th-mar-2020 to Cache > Advanced settings > URLs to exclude from cache, or you would have to create a custom rule to purge that page cache only when a photo is added. Which requires coding.

    Though you don’t have to clear the whole cache, you can also manually clear the contest page cache by using the link on the page itself when you’re logged in.
