• I have disabled the Garbage collection completely and WP Super Cache is deleting my Preload files and I do not know what is deleting them. I have searched all docs and the web and found no explanation or fix. The only thing I can think of is when a new post is created or edited (or a comment which would be lame) is triggering a COMPLETE flush of the preload cache.

Of course I have unchecked “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.” and set gargage collection interval to “0” to disable it.

Please help, I need the preloaded cache to remain Indefinetly until the next preload runs.

    Thanks in advance for advice,

    Dave

  • +1. Appears that ANY change related to a post/page causes the entire preload cache to be cleared, even though the option is unchecked. I’m using the WP Dashboard Notes plug-in. If I change a note on the dashboard the preload cache is cleared. Only thing I can think of is that the dashboard notes may technically be considered posts but still, the option is unchecked, so don’t know why the cache is being cleared.
