• I haven’t had preloading enabled in a while and thought I’d try it again. I set it to send emails for every 100 posts cached, and was very surprised to start getting emails listing posts from 10 years ago on my site, instead of newer ones. This means if I want newer posts preloaded, I’ll have to select 20K+ as the number of posts to preload. Otherwise, if it starts at the beginning any number I select will fall far short of preloading newer posts.

  • Yes, that’s true. I was actually going to start a thread about this too… ??

We got over 35,000 articles – and because of some major upgrades, I had to delete the cache a couple of weeks ago and run preload again. It’s still running… and I was really surprised to find it starts with the oldest rather than the newest.

Donncha: I think this is something you should consider fixing in the upcoming version, no?

    Thanks ??
