Preload not working on one website

    I have been a satisfied user of WPFC Premium for years

    On another website, with only the free WPFC, preload does not work at all and “strange” things happen:

    – the pages are cached if they are visited
    – my_domain.com/?action=wpfastestcache&type=preload give a positive result with the right number of cached for a run, but in cache directory: nothing

    I tried to roll back to 0.8.9.9 without success

    The 2 websites run on the same VPS

    Additional information, even if it is a VPS, wordpress Cron does not work, and I have setup Cron jobs from Cpanel for the 2 websites. The Cron job are OK for both websites.

    The 2 websites use nearly the same plugins, same WP version.

    I have also tried to uninstall and install again without any success

    Would you have any clue to tell me what to look at…

    I found the issue. It is on me: I accidentally blocked USA IP access to the website and guess where is the server.

    Nevertheless, it is not very informative to get a “OK everything is fine” when you run my_domain.com/?action=wpfastestcache&type=preload as in fact you got fully empty pages and nothing in the cache directory.

    Visitors were redirected to https://127.0.0.1 when coming from my server country

    my_domain.com/?action=wpfastestcache&type=preload indicates that everything is OK, and the right number of pages have been cached

    /wp-content/cache remains empty

    it means that you cannot use the preload feature.
