preloader for cache is not working

    Hi,

    I installed your plugin with the PRO version. I have followed your installation guide and activated cache. But I thought I would run the preloader to get it going asap but then I get this message “An unexpected response was received.”.

    All the other things (DB and Images) worked as following your installation guide without any issues.

    Any ideas what goes wrong?

    Hi @flamuren

    It can happen in couple of situations. (Preloading is a long running process)

    1. Your server refuses to close browser connection
    2. You server kills long running php process

    We are working on a more friendly user message on such situations.

    That said, your preload should still work after you see message and clicked okay

    @webulous thanks for the answer. Is it possible to check if the cache/preloader is working? Because the website speed is not better (even one point less on google test) after installing and using your plugin ?? Perhaps I am doing something wrong? ??

    Hi @flamuren

    Yes, it is possible.

    Click Purge cache and you’ll see that both current cache size and number of files are 0

    Now run preload. If you see increase in cache size and files after a while, then the preload is working.
