Preloading featured images

    Is there a way to use Pre* Party to preload a post’s featured image? It’s the largest content paint and perhaps we had a preload directive for the specific asset, it could reduce LCP times.

    @joemanna Thanks for contacting me. That would require unique hints to be implemented on a per-post basis, which is a feature I am working on. I cannot tell you exactly when that would be completed however.

    Thanks for the quick response. As a suggestion, it would be neat to make the featured image for a post function like a shortcode to accomplish this. It’s a very specific use-case, though; any modern theme could achieve this as well.
