Premature end of script headers

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thanks for advice. In fact it was a maintenance problem with my hosting as they were doing something at their end. Nothing wrong with my WP installation.
I’d suggest people bumping into this kind of error to check first their server’s status via hosting control panel before messing up with the site. I was nearly to try to re-build the WP site to solve the problem whereas the problem was not within my site.
