    Hey thanks for letting me know. I never did test that functionality, but it should have been handled in the transition_post_status function. I’ll have to check it out.

    Hi tesseraltyme,
    Finally had a chance to look into this. Worked fine for me. I scheduled a custom post type; did not show up in the admin menu or on the site. After the publish time was past it appears as expected. No issues.

    As for the ‘fix’ you posted: line 799 is for removing post types from the menu after they have been trashed. To change it in the way you propose would delete all states other than ‘publish’, which isn’t the desired behaviour.
