Premium features not clearly noted

    Great looking calendar but about of no use in its free version because re-occurring event is a premium feature !
    I didn’t notice that at first moment so I was deeply frustrated by the lost time to test Tockify.
    During Premium trial period, only some premium features are clearly noted as such but not all…
    It’s not dramatic but not very fair although.
    I also didn’t find if the free version is ad-free or not.

    Hi Eric,

    Apologies if the differences between the free and premium versions were unclear, that’s not our intention.

    When people are trying the premium version we display a prominent purple bar at the bottom of the page reminding them of the fact that it’s a trial and linking to a page that compares the features. That list makes it clear that recurring events are a premium only feature – as far as we know all difference are listed there.

    If you’re working for a non-profit or something like that please contact Tockify support (details here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/tockify-events-calendar/#faq ) and they’ll probably be able to help.

    thanks for your quick reply (even on Sunday) that I was not expecting !

    I easily accept that it was not intentional but I was willing to mention that to you so you can eventually improve that point.
    I noticed the list of feature at some points; I faced another feature (I don’t remember which one) during my trial that was also not clearly highlighted as premium from within the plugin admin and that was also listed in the same place I missed at first sight. I can’t really blame you to make people willing to test your product.

    I am looking for a completely free calendar for my personal and 100% non-commercial WordPress blog to publish public events in my neighborhood and from some friends.
    Tockify is unfornately not made for me but I can perfectly understand your choices to position your good looking product.

    I wish properity to Tockify and the team !
