Premium Standalone Question

    Hi,

    Rather than purchasing WPMU DEV membership, can I purchase WP Smush Pro just separate, without any additional API/Plugin requirements? Or do you still require installation of that component too?

    Is this WP Smush PRO allowed to be purchased only for a month, compress a small collection of images, then cancelled. Wait a few months before purchasing again. We don’t require it for thousands of images every month and can’t justify an ongoing monthly cost. Some months we won’t even need it at all.

    Yet if we could just use PRO on and off, and it keeps the compressions, it would be more worth it for us to pay every so often when we need it.

    Hey there 3Lancer,

    Unfortunately in order to use Smush PRO you’ll have to have active subscription and our Dashboard plugin for the API.

    However, you can cancel subscription at any time and keep using in for that period of time that you payed for. When it expires the plugin should work as a free version does. Once you re subscribe you should be able to use the premium API again.

    As for the already smushed images they will stay compressed as they are since you fetched them to your library.
