premium theme for free?!

  • Hi,
    I’ve downloaded a theme searching it in Google, and then I activated it.
    Then I found out that the theme is a premium theme, so it’s not for free (in the official theme website it costs 40 dollars).
    So how could I have downloaded it for free??
    Which is my risk now? Can I use it or it will be unactivated or something?

    There are lots of people that pirate themes and make them available for free. Some of them add malware or other types of negative functions to the theme. You’re probably better off buying the real thing, especially if you plan on your site making money anyway.
