preorder not working for downloadable products

    I’ve done a trial with the plugin installed. The first trial was with a downloadable file already included in the product listing. When I purchased it, the downloadable file was available right away, even though there was the comments stating the release date to be in the future.
    The second trial I did was to purchase the item without the downloadable file in the product listing. The release date was set to the future still. The day before the release date, I added a downloadable file to the product listing. The downloadable file does not show in the person’s account on the release date.

    Please help!

  • I believe I have similar issue. I have ebooks for sale with preorder status. Once the payment of the client went through, it seems that the plugin automatically updates the status to completed and the customer received an email about it. This should not happen.

    Also, if this is true, it is not a good thing:
    “The day before the release date, I added a downloadable file to the product listing. The downloadable file does not show in the person’s account on the release date.”

    today i trying to reproduce the problems in our local server but it surprisingly working without any issues.
