Prepare physical letters in WordPress

  • I’m finding it difficult to search for the answer to my question because ‘letter’ results in font-type answers!

    I have a wordpress-based intranet at work.

    I would like to find a way for staff to prepare letters on the page – either via a pre-formatted post or another widget/plugin.

    It would be nice to be able to layout the heading/address, but the most essential aspect is that it prints on A4 and removes all other areas (the web page headings for eg).

    Please help!

  • One possibility is to search for a “Print to PDF” plugin. I have used some in the past.
    Then in plugin setup you can control various formatting issues.
    This would allow your staff to build a Post / Page in WordPress, and then the “PDF” link would output it as PDF for print / physical letter use.
