I just installed this theme and wanted to try it out. During installation I selected to use the default style (which installs “Colibri Page Builder”). It began installing the Colibri Page Builder plugin and activating options and setting up the defaults, but is now stuck with a spinning wheel and “Preparing theme styles” now for over an hour. Refreshing makes no difference. The whole site is covered by this new nag. Deleting the plugin folder and theme folder stopped it. Re-installing causes it to resume.

    Fixed it.

    Deleted the plugin.
Visited the Plugins page to ensure it was properly disabled.
Reinstall the plugin manually through the Plugins page.
    Activate the plugin manually.

This resolved the “Preparing theme styles” forever issue.

    Hey Shawn,

How did you visit the plugins page if it is blocking out all of the WordPress account?

When you delete the plugin and refresh the page it recognizes that it is missing and disables it, so the script that triggers the “preparing theme styles” issue doesn’t load.

I refreshed it a couple times to make sure everything was operating normally then installed the plugin manually.

    Hi @pupella ,

We are working on an update to prevent this from happening in case that action fails.

Can you please go to https://www.pupella.com.au/wp-admin/plugins.php and when the overlay appears paste in your browser url the next line:

    javascript:(function({window.colibriLoadingScreen.hide()})()

this should hide the overlay and you can disable the plugin.

    Hi,

I typed in the additional line for the URL and the result was all of the content was enlarged and the spinning “preparing theme styles” still present.

    Is there another option?

    Thanks,
    Shin
