Preservation of GPS-Data possible?

  • Hi,

    thats a great plugin – and it works well with Postie! ??

    But: Is there a way to preserve geodata included in the EXIF when rotating the image? The problem is, that posts that use geodata of images to be plotted on OSM-maps don’t show up when the image has been rotated.

    BTW: All other rotation-plugins i know (Image Rotation Repair, Fix Image Rotation) have the same problem… ??

    Hi again,

    It can be done but it need custom work and root access as there is a library that needs to be installed to the server, then I will be able to create an add-on plugin for the iOS Images Fixer that will copy the exif data and write it to the newly rotated image. If you are interested into getting this done, kindly please let me know.
