Preserving Custom Taxonomy Menu Options when Migrating WordPress

I just recently built a site which including quite a few custom post types, and taxonomies for those post types. The site was built and populated with content on a development server, and then migrated to the production server via a SQL import.

Everything went smoothly with the move except that I lost the option under “Appearance > Menus” to add any of the custom taxonomies I had registered, and which all of the content in custom post types was categorized under, to the menu.

Menus that existed previous to the migration which included custom taxonomy items still work perfectly. I’m just not able to add taxonomy items to menus any more through the back end.
