Press Row theme: trouble changing color of links within posts

Hi experts,

I can’t seem to change the color of links (link, active, hover, or visited) for links I add to posts for the Press Row theme. I’ve tried adding mark up to the stylesheet and within the post itself. Other attributes work: “text-decoration: none” removes the text-decoration in the post, but “font-color: red”, for example, doesn’t. Any ideas?

Please let me know if I haven’t described the problem in enough detail.
