Press This 404 issue

  • Version 4.5.2 hosted on hostgator reseller services.
    There seems to be a big issue with the press this and the 404 error. No one seems to address this problem. It needs to be fixed in the core so that each user of a WP sites does not have to jump hurdles to get it working. Is WordPress not addressing this problem with an official fix?

  • Check your permalink settings under Settings >> Permalinks

    Sometimes these need to be resaved after an update.
