Press This shutting down browser

I’ve been using Press This regularly without incident, but today when I try to use it causes both Firefox v. 3.5.5 and IE v.8.0.6 to shut down.

I’m not absolutely certain, but this may be associated with upgrading to WP 2.8.6

Any help will be appreciated!
