Another issue I just noticed (as well as the large amount of products issue i’ve commented on in another thread) is that if you press enter/return before AWS has the chance to bring up its search results then there is some problems.

1. The products returned are fewer than if you select the keyword from the AWS tag list

e.g.: https://www.microstockman.com/?s=sand&post_type=product&type_aws=true (searched for ‘sand’ and hit enter before AWS could load its ajax list)

compared to https://www.microstockman.com/photo-keyword/sand/ (which I selected as a tag in the AWS results once it loaded)

2. On the AWS page it messes the site up. Again if you check https://www.microstockman.com/?s=sand&post_type=product&type_aws=true then look at the footer compared to https://www.microstockman.com/photo-keyword/sand/ – entire elements of the page fail to load.

I should add, I know ideally you should wait for AWS to load its list. But i’ve watched users on my site and many of them press enter right away, without waiting for the ajax list to load.

1. Sorry, but it is not clear for me. If you type ‘sand’ and wait for AWS results list you will see the same 10 products results that I can see in
https://www.microstockman.com/?s=sand&post_type=product&type_aws=true
So it is the right behavior.

2. Can you please tell me what theme do you use?

Just release new version – 1.11.

Sorry, I didn’t get notified of your reply for some reason. Just updated to 1.11 and it now allows all my 3,000+ products to be indexed – awesome!

And it has fixed the weird layout issue with my footer (Enfold theme).

However, pressing return before the AWS results list has fully loaded still has the same issue:

e.g.: searched for “beach” and hit return before the ajax list loaded and I get this page: https://www.microstockman.com/?s=beach&post_type=product&type_aws=true with only 10 results.

However if I wait for the AWS ajax list to load, it shows I have 274 products with the tag “beach” and brings me to this page: https://www.microstockman.com/photo-keyword/beach/

Does that make sense?
