Pressing the + next to conditions is very slow

  • 2) Click on “+ Conditions” to add conditions in the modal box (tick the checkboxes where you want the menu to appear)

    When I do this step from the ReadMe file from the plugin download it is very very slow and sits with a grey screen for a very long time. To test I disabled every plugin but this one, and then changed the theme to the wordpress 2016 theme and it did the same thing. Using google chrome developer tools saw I had a 500 internal server error, so I enabled wordpress debuging and viewed the debug log and I ran out of memory, it needed more than 256mb, so I increased it to 8gb in the php.ini file and now it does in fact load instead of just sitting there grey. Developer tools had Viloation ‘readystatechange’ handler took 24945ms XHR finished loading: post “/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?_fs_blog_admin=true”.
    ‘readystatechange’ handler took 1521ms
    Forced reflow while executing JavaScript took 21570ms
    XFR finished loading: Post “/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?_fs_blog_admin=true”.
    Why is it so slow when I press Conditions for it to bring up the conditions menu? What can I do to speed it up?

    Unfortunately, I need to confirm this. I tried it on two VPS as well as on localhost (16GB RAM). Can’t open it on VPS because of only 2GB RAM memory limit and this plugin just kills the whole server. It’s unusable anymore.

    Any info about this @themifyme?

    Hi,

    Do you have a lot of posts, categories, and categories? That might triggers the problem – when you have a lot of posts and the server crashes while trying to load the condition lightbox.

    Yes, that’s it. I just installed a fresh copy of WordPress and everything works fine. On the main site, however, I have a lot of posts, but only 10 > categories.

    Is it possible somehow to disable Post Type option?

    EDIT: Also, I have a lot more tags, so I’m looking to disable Taxonomies as well.
