Pretty Calendar but Bugs, Careless Support

  • We like the calendar view, but the plugin has some serious drawbacks:

    1.) Doesn’t process shortcodes inside calendar listings.
    2.) Makes a weird mess of event slugs.
    3.) Google maps JSON is not customizable, and after months of back-and-forth with support they just stopped replying to us.

    We’re looking for a different way to manage our events. In retrospect, perhaps we should not have started with this plugin at all.

    Thank you for the review you have posted.

    1. Yes, it is not possible to have shortcodes in the calendar, the plugin does not have this functionality yet.
    The shortcodes can be displayed in Single Event and Events Archive page.

    2. Could you please let us know how would you prefer to have the event slugs in the calendar? We welcome new suggestions for the features of the plugin.
    3. As for the Google Maps JSON, we’ll surely take this point into consideration and will think of adding this useful feature.
