• Nice plugin but i think that it should not auto update outdated plugins uppon activation or at least you may add a notice to the plugin’s description about it.

In other words, i think auto updates should be inactive by default and have the user to turn them on.

    Really good job though.

    Thank you for the review.

Upon activation, the plugin does not save any settings, especially particular to auto-updates. This is on purpose as we don’t want to overwrite any default WordPress settings.

The plugin only saves options when you save the update options for the plugin.

We’re willing to investigate this absolutely. Activating the plugin alone should not trigger any activation or update whatsoever.

well, tested to another site with about 10 outdated plugins, and this time nothing happened upon activation.

Don’t know what happened to the first site i tried but all plugins where updated instantly.

Anyway, next time i’ll just make a backup my plugins’ and themes’ folders (just to be sure) before installation and if something fails just restore the files. No big deal.

keep up the good work!!! ??

Thanks. Would you consider moving your rating to 5 stars if you are satisfied?

We also did an automatic updates plugin video which should help alleviate some of your concerns.
