Pretty darn awesome

I needed to create custom post types with mandatory custom fields. I’m usually too proud to get a plug-in – I prefer to just do it myself all on the back end – but searching the internets led me to conclude this task would take some serious doing.

So I caved and installed Types, and yeah, it works really well. The UI is intuitive and developer-friendly – it’s straightforward and simple, without being dumbed-down.

Seems to me that every CMS should come with this kind of functionality built in, but, until they figure that out, looks like Types will be a must-have Plugin for every WordPress site I build from now on!
