pretty link help

Hi,

I’m using pretty link as a means to hide ugly links/cloack my links.

I have used the following format for my affiliate links:

https://www.mydomainname.com/keyword

I am using anchor text so something like ‘click here now’ and the link above will take it to the required page… BUT when the new page opens (my affiliate linked page, something on clickbank) it shows the normal clickbank hop URL ! Is this how its supposed to be? Doesnt this defeat the point of cloacking since the page that it opens has that hop url in it? Or is it OK to have that clickbank hop url there? As long as there isnt an affiliate link on my actual blog page??
