Does installing Pretty Link Lite cause any changes to .htaccess? If so, is there documentation available that details the changes?

The reason I ask is that after installing Pretty Link Lite, a subdirectory of /www that I had password-protected using .htaccess and .htpasswd started throwing a Page Not Found error instead of prompting for a username and password.

Could be a coincidence, of course, but it made me wonder if Pretty Link Lite relies on .htaccess at all.

    Thanks!

    Can anyone answer this question?

Has anyone else had a problem with a protected subdirectory suddenly throwing Page Not Found errors after you installed Pretty Link Lite?

No, Pretty Link does not make any .htaccess modifications.
