Dear Jacob,

I installed WPPA+ after I tried and uninstalled Nextgen and Photo Gallery. It was a great surprise to find such a well organized admin/settings (with quick setup WOW) page and that WPPA+ works very nicely out of the box.

I have this only issue that pretty links don’t seem to work. My settings are:
Table IV
A1 disabled (ajax)
A3 disabled (phot names in urls)
A4 enabled (album names in urls) When this is disabled URLs are still not pretty.
A6 enabled (pretty links)

A subalbum URL:
…/nature/?wppa-occur=1&wppa-cover=0&wppa-album=Flowers%20and%20plants
A photo URL:
/nature/?wppa-occur=1&wppa-album=Flowers%20and%20plants&wppa-photo=5

The site is: free – images dot cmfrt dot net

I searched through the topics here but it seems to me others have raised this issue a long time ago and you developed WPPA+ since then heavily so your replies don’t seem to be relevant anymore (eg you mention setting codes that don’t exist anymore like table IV A33 or similar).

I guess I am missing something here. What is it? ??

To begin with, the image files are not accessable by http requests:

https://free-images.cmfrt.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/6.png?ver=1

and

https://free-images.cmfrt.net/wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs/6.png?ver=1

return a 404.

Please check the boxes Table IV-A18 ( this may fix any .htaccess problem ) and IX-A3 ( this enables me to see more on your site ).

checked IV-A18, IX-A3 and added this to my wp-config:
define( ‘WPPA_MULTISITE_INDIVIDUAL’, true );

now i have red: “missing thumbnails” in albums

Verify in Table XII: WPPA_UPLOAD_PATH
It should look like:
```
/mnt/webc/d3/15/51893315/htdocs/opajaap/test/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/wppa
```
In this folder you should find the images
The thumnails should be here:
```
/mnt/webc/d3/15/51893315/htdocs/opajaap/test/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/wppa/thumbs
```
Verify with ftp that they are there, if not, delete the photos and upload again now.

WPPA_UPLOAD_PATH – verified: looks OK, and originals and thumbs are there. Permission is 644 though. Not sure if it is OK?

Wp just offered updated for WPPA. Not sure I you are still investigating. Can I update now?

Permission is 644 though.

Should do it.
Updating is ok to do.

Thanks, I updated but no joy.
I also noticed that my site became slower since I added that line to the wp-config. Can there be a connection? Server load on my shared hosting is normal.

2 questions:

1. Do you see the thumbnails in the album admin pages?
( Photo Albums -> Album Admin -> Edit, scroll down to the photo info section )

2. Pls mail me the .htaccess file in the wordpress directory ( and probably others in the tree to …/wppa/thumbs/.
