Pretty Links in Excerpt

    The excerpt is shown at the top of this page and the word recipes should be a link. It works everywhere else but in the excerpt box. Is there some code to add or option to activate which allows the plugin to display in the excerpt?

    Your theme might be stripping HTML from the excerpts. You would need to work with the theme author to resolve this.

    I wish it was as simple as that, but I don’t think it is because the Automatic Affiliate Links plugin shows links in the excerpt. Now that we know it isn’t the theme or another plugin conflict, what might be another resolution to enabling Pretty Links in the excerpt?
    https://protectivediet.com/ here you will notice that the link for Oil-Free Chili Crunch Premium PD Recipe the word “recipes” appears other places the excerpt is displayed, just not when visiting the recipe custom post type itself. I would think that maybe it had to do with the CPT, but but links work fine in the content field on the recipe.

    Unfortunately, this ticket is not resolved. Other plugins can recognize words to link in the excerpt, but not pretty Links. Thank you for your prompt response a week ago, but do you have any direction to allow pretty links to link words in the excerpt? I appreciate your work!
