Pretty Permalinks are Breaking My Site
-
When I switch on Pretty Permalinks (any combination), images begin disappearing on my site. The home page looks fine, but any subsequent page loses its background image, logo, and all the header images in my blog posts. Other images are fine, though.
I thought it might be a GoDaddy thing, but I just switched my site to DreamHost and I’m experiencing the same issues. So, now I don’t know what’s happening. I’ve tried manually writing the necessary code into the htaccess file, and I’ve tried letting WP take care of it. Neither work. Doesn’t look like I’m able to get into my httpd.config file through DreamHost, and I don’t imagine GoDaddy is any better.
Can anyone help me? I’ve been scouring help forums but can’t seem to find anyone who’s dealing with this exact issue. I’ve seen 404 errors and 500 errors, but no description of my problem and its fix.
Help. If you’d like to see what I’m talking about, please visit:

Thanks for any help.
