Pretty Useless – Nothing to Evaluate

  • First of all this thing isn’t finished in the pay version. In the evaluation version you won’t be able to do anything with it. 1 GB LIMIT???? Try 500 MB LIMIT!! I excluded a bunch of stuff just to see how tis thing performed. I pared my 3 GB site down to a mere 503 MB, ran the backup and the app tells me my site is “fat” and cancels the backup.

    I’m sorry I will have remnants of this garbage plugin in my database.

    Dude, if you want people to evaluate your plugin at least make it somewhat usable. Christ.

    Thank you for your feedback. There are two parts to it:

    A) If you exclude files, so that it’s less than 1 GB, then it should work. Maybe there is a bug somewhere, please help us to find it. So you’re certain that you reduced it to 503 MB? Did it say that on the screen? Do you have a screenshot or maybe even better a screenvideo?

    B) Regarding the 1GB limit in general: That’s how we pay our bills (it was A LOT of work to develop this plugin). Having said that, we will look into increasing the limit also in the free version. We’ll update you on this soon.

    @gcbrowne We heard you, and now doubled the limit to 2 GB in the free plugin. It would be great if you could adjust your review accordingly. Thank you!
